Reaching, Planting, Equipping and Caring

Of the 4 activities above our ministry is centered in the equipping and caring realm. We will be alongside the Slaters in the transitional work required to move the William Cornelius Vocational Training Center from a construction site to an actual educational center.
We are committed to:

investigating the possibility of a Forestry program and administration of that program

curriculum developments that includes life skill training for all students

investigating self sufficiency and sustainability options (including tree planting and sequestration planning)

English tutoring of Child Care Plus English teachers

student mentoring, modeling, and small group Bible studies

Prayer Focus:

Will you partner with us to bring this practical works ministry to Guatemala? A ministry that will assist in the process of changing the culture of poverty in Guatemala and usher in the Reign of Christ, first in the hearts of individuals then into their families and ultimately into the fabric of the Guatemalan society?
Goal: To secure 200 prayer partners in Canada who will cover us and our ministry in prayer.

That our presentations to local congregations will be effective in the building of lasting friendships that prove mutually beneficial

That God gives us the ability to become fluent in Spanish as we begin the learning process here in Canada

That our children and grandchildren will continue to look upon this act of faith favorably and that the Lord will wrap His loving arms around our family as we face the issues associated with transitioning into a new life in Guatemala
